DCS

Trinity Solutions work in partnership with Direct Construction and Safety Training (DCS) to provide 16 - 18 year old learners with the opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge and experience needed to prepare them for Further Education, Apprenticeships or Employment. A range of training opportunities is available within the construction industry.

All learners attending the DCS provision will have the opportunity to try the following:

• Joinery/wood occupations
• Plastering
• Tiling
• Brickwork
• Painting and Decorating

Training takes place in our industry equipped training workshops conveniently located at Byker and Scotswood in Newcastle and is delivered by qualified tradesman and trainers.

In addition to experience gained in the workshop, you will have the opportunity to go on actual work placements with local companies in the area and receive full pastoral support by our trainers.
And an opportunity to earn up to £25 per week financial support.

We strongly encourage our young people to get involved in community based projects and provide the support needed to make this happen.
